Studio 26 Performance Session is a monthly interdisciplinary performance series curated by Rebecca Lloyd-Jones. This month's performance series will include dance and music by Katrina Reid, Lucy Kerr and Pete Sturman.
Featuring Peter Bushyeager, Mike Topp, and Gina DeNaia
Peter Bushyeager's poetry has appeared in numerous publications including, most recently, the on-line journal Press One. His books include Citadel Luncheonette and In the Green Oval (Straw Gate Edition). His reviews and commentary have been published in Rain Taxi, The Poetry Project Newsletter, Talisman, Encyclopedia of American Poetry/The Twentieth Century, and in the Talisman House anthology The World in Time and Space.
Mike Topp was born in Washington, D.C. and currently lives in New York City unless he has died or moved. Recent books include SASQUATCH STORIES (Publishing Genius) and 29 MINI-ESSAYS (Amazon Kindle). His writings have appeared in McSweeney's, Hobart, and Gigantic.
Gina DeNaia recently graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a fine arts degree in photography. She makes photo and text based art work that plays with issues of representation and lumpen banality. A portfolio of her recent work can be viewed at ginadenaia.com.
The Acidic Ghost Spectral Reading Series pairs poets and writers reading works that interact with projected images. Free Admission.
Studio 26 Gallery exhibited at Miami Art Week 2014 with Red Dot Miami, December 2–7, 2014 in Booth B118,
Location: 3011 NE 1st avenue at the corner of NE 31st Street in Midtown Miami, Florida.
This was Red Dot Miami Art Fairs 8th edition and returned to the same prime location in the Wynwood Art District in Miami, December 2- 7, 2014, concurrent with Art Basel Miami Beach 2014. Building upon its reputation as a diverse fair, Red Dot offered an exclusive selection of approximately sixty galleries that exhibited contemporary paintings, sculptures, photography and the secondary market.
The opening reception was on Tuesday, December 2nd, which benefited the Center for Autism & Related Disabilities of Miami.
Red Dot Art Fair created a fair for galleries specializing in emerging, mid-career and established artists that presented artworks of lasting value and outstanding craftsmanship. The luxurious layout of the fifty thousand square foot venue provided visitors with a sophisticated and friendly environment to view and purchase artworks presented by galleries and dealers.
